Club House History
Since its founding in 1989, the Club has continually enhanced its facilities, amenities, and activities to provide the absolute best member experience and oceanfront lifestyle. The Club’s core values of stewardship, respect, customer service, community, integrity, and passion are woven into every aspect of life at Hammock Dunes, and truly make us more than a Club.The Rees Jones 18 hole Creek Course was opened in January 2003.
Three additional tennis courts, a viewing pavilion, and a second croquet lawn opened in November 2003.
Renovations began on the clubhouse in July 2005. In June 2006, its completion was celebrated with a grand re-opening.
The Club's first bocce courts opened in June 2007.
The expanded Links Practice Facility opened in October 2008.
Two pickleball courts opened in September 2015, with two more added in June 2018 and a pickleball patio installed in April 2019.
A second renovation of the clubhouse began in August 2017. The $7.2 million renovation was completed in May 2019 and celebrated with a grand re-opening.
The oceanfront bocce courts opened in March 2020.
Two additional Pickleball Course were added and opened in October 2022.
