Club House History

The original Five Farms clubhouse, known as Oliver Mansion, was demolished in 1964 to make way for our current clubhouse. Our next clubhouse renovation project occurred in 1999 and opened to members in July 2000. This renovation saw the addition of several rooms to the existing building. The spaces included the Living, Board, Terrace, Tillinghast, and Tap Rooms. Additionally, a porte cochere was built over the entrance to provide weather protection for our members and guests when entering and exiting their vehicles. These updates improved our overall member experience for the next 21 years until our most recent renovation project.

In September 2021, we broke ground on Phase 1 of our Lifestyle Facilities Master Plan. This year-long construction project focused on a clubhouse expansion that focused on creating exemplary indoor and outdoor casual dining, exciting bar experiences, and a newly expanded kitchen. The clubhouse enhancements included: a new corner open porch dining and bar experience, new casual grill dining with a grand fireplace, coffered ceilings, dining tables, high tops, and soft seating, a new Main Bar with expanded seating, an expanded Terrace Room with glass NanaWall™, new casual entry foyer, a conditioned wine room with the private dining experience, and conditioned wine and cigar lockers. The exterior enhancements included: a pedestrian courtyard and bag drop experience, a rooftop terrace, a new golf access drive circle drop-off area, and an expanded porch area for outdoor dining. We held a Grand Reopening Ceremony for our newly renovated Five Farms clubhouse on September 10, 2022. Our members have more opportunities to create memories at their favorite place!
