The golf professional at Stonehenge GC in Winona Lake, Ind. confirmed that the course will not reopen next spring after closing for this season on November 17.
Beechwood Golf Course in Arcanum, Ohio will go up for auction on November 27th, the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News reported. The roughly 251-acre course includes a 6,400-sq. ft. clubhouse and banquet facility, 6,400-sq.-ft. maintenance building, 1,600-sq. ft. older farm barn, 160-space paved parking lot, and a 27-hole, fully developed golf course.
Beechwood is the only course in Darke County, Ohio that has 27 holes, the Daily News noted.
The auction will begin at 1 p.m. on November 27th, but open houses and inspections are being held by Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company, with the next one scheduled for Tuesday, November 13thfrom 11 am to 1 pm.
The auction will be held on site, with the property sold as a whole or in individual tracts, the Daily News reported. The first and second tracts hold all the golf course-related features.

Station WNDU of South Bend, Ind. reported that Stonehenge Golf Club in Winona Lake, Ind. will be closing its doors for good after its last day for golf this season on Saturday, November 17th.
Head Golf Professional Griffyn Carpenter confirmed to WDNU that the course will not reopen in the spring.
“This place has made a true impact in my life and I will forever be in debt to you, Stonehenge,” Carpenter said in a Facebook post. “Thank you for absolutely everything. I will forever miss you!”
