Renovation includes common areas, guestrooms, meeting spaces, landscaping and more.
Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Colorado Springs, Colo., has completed the $20 million renovation that began in May 2010, the first ever property-wide renovation for the AAA Four Diamond resort.
The renovation commenced with the Resort’s Mountain View Restaurant Terrace, which received new Brazilian cherry wood lounge furnishings, wood slat rocking chairs and a 15 ft. custom fire pit. Other outdoor common areas, including the resort pool, Sundance Terrace, Grand Rivers Terrace, Cheyenne Kids Club space, Will Rogers Lounge and Pineview Restaurant received new furniture. Landscaping throughout the resort has been updated as well, with five new water features and upgraded stone signage.
All 38 meeting rooms featuring more than 40,000 square feet of flexible, IACC-certified space have been equipped with new carpeting, wall coverings, furnishings and state-of-the-art technology including sound systems, lighting and rear projection screens.
