The 27-hole facility in Wilsonville, Ore. features recently renovated amenities to accommodate increased public play and use, including an upgraded restaurant, a new high-end, covered year-round golf practice facility and a new event venue to host more non-golf-related events, including weddings and other celebrations.
Charbonneau Golf Club in Wilsonville, Ore. has selected OB Sports Golf Management to oversee all aspects of the club, including its golf operation, golf course maintenance, food-and-beverage operation and marketing. effective June 1, 2018.
Honored by the Oregon Golf Association as the 2017 Club of the Year for its work in helping to grow the game, Charbonneau GC is a 27-hole public facility located 30 minutes south of Portland. Originally designed and built in 1975 by Ted Robinson Sr., the club’s golf course features rolling, generous and lush fairways designed to allow players to enjoy and experience the surrounding nature in three 9-hole sides, named Red, Yellow and Green, each consisting of four par 4s and five par 3s.
Charbonneau GC recently upgraded The Turn, a centrally located restaurant and recently added a new event venue to allow it to host more non-golf-related events, including weddings and other celebrations. In late May, the club opened a high-end, covered year-round practice facility.
“We selected OB Sports to help us increase our footprint in the local golf community because of their track record of success in such projects,” said Joe Brouillette, President of the Charbonneau Golf Club Board of Directors. “The outstanding membership and regular players at Charbonneau deserve nothing but the best, and we plan on giving them just that.”
