The Country Club of Winter Haven (Fla.) has rolled out new membership categories ahead of its projected early-December reopening.
The Billy Casper Golf-managed property offers full, golf, tennis/sports and social equity and non-equity membership options for individuals, families, companies and non-residents.
Earlier this summer, renowned architects Rees Jones and Bill Bergin were selected to redesign the 18-hole golf course, including tees, greens and bunker modernization; irrigation and drainage installation; and bridge restoration.
BCG is overseeing the comprehensive club renovation project in several phases with upgrades to the existing clubhouse, pool and tennis facilities. The company will provide turnkey management of club operations, golf course and property maintenance, member programs, sales, marketing and public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, restaurant and banquet activities, special events, golf instruction and financial management.
During construction, members of the new Country Club of Winter Haven will enjoy reciprocal privileges at other area clubs.
“Members will be wowed by the renovations and we’re excited to unveil exceptional golf and social experiences for everyone,” said Randy Houseman, General Manager. “Membership categories are tailored to special interests and individuals, families and businesses.”
Approximately 100 of the club’s core founding members recently came together to acquire ownership of the property, formerly owned by Lake Region Yacht & Country Club.
