Camp Creek Golf Club—the award-winning Tom Fazio design in Watersound, Fla.—opened on a limited basis to outside play on March 1 as part of the club’s transition from private to semi-private, so it can now serve members, WaterColor Resort guests and daily-fee golfers.
“Camp Creek is a ‘core’ course; there is not a single home located on the property,” notes General Manager Will Hopkins. “That is an extremely rare attribute for any golf course built in the last 20 to 30 years.”
“We are excited to introduce Camp Creek to local golfers and visitors to the area,” adds Stephen Hilliard, Vice President of Resort and Club Operations. “The course remains a member-oriented facility and upscale golf amenity of our WaterColor and WaterSound communities. That stated, our daily-fee guests can enjoy this limited opportunity and will feel at home in taking part in a golf experience that is truly unique to this area.”
