Indian Wells (Calif.) Golf Resort – the world-class public golf, vacation, culinary and events destination located in the picturesque Coachella Valley – announces the return of its family-friendly outdoor golf experience, Shots in the Night, on Oct. 19.
Wildly popular with residents and resort guests, Shots in the Night highlights include laser putting by Nextlinks on seven dedicated lighted greens as well as state-of-the art “Topgolf” technology on its 17 new Toptracer Driving Range hitting bays. The bays are complete with comfortable couches, high-definition TVs and top-notch food and beverage service. Both promise an exciting evening of fun and entertainment for golfers of any and all skill levels as well as those picking up a club for the first time.
Club + Resort Business shared a story in 2022 about Indian Wells adding Toptracer technology and a solar panel to its driving range.
Along with enjoying the lit putting greens or the glow-in-the-dark driving range, visitors can additionally savor the delicious elevated barbecue offerings from the famous food truck parked nearby, or make their way to the nearby Vue Bar and Grille on the top floor of the Indian Wells Golf Resort Clubhouse. Both culinary spots offer an array of delicious menu options for kids as well.
From Oct. 19 to May 31, Shots in the Night will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. In December, the experience will operate seven nights a week as part of the annual “Winterfest” celebration at Indian Wells Golf Resort. The Winterfest celebration will feature a roller-skating rink alongside music and holiday decor as well as seasonal food and beverage delights.
Also perfect for group celebrations and special occasions, reservations and information for the Top Tracer hitting bays and interactive putting greens can be found here. Starting in mid-November, tickets for the roller skating rink will be available for pre-purchase.
“We are delighted to welcome back our guests to experience a brand-new season of Shots in the Night and Winterfest,” says Indian Wells Golf Resort General Manager Robin Graf. “This is a special time of year for our community, and we are proud to offer such a unique outdoor golf and entertainment experience to go along with the outstanding golf courses, top-notch dining and beautiful wedding venues we offer here at the resort.”
Celebrating its 38th anniversary, the acclaimed resort features 36 holes of exceptional golf with its Celebrity and Players layouts, colloquially referred to as the “Beauty and the Beast.” The Celebrity Course offers a slightly milder setup with beautiful water features and bright colored flowers, while the Players is a longer, more open layout with demanding bunkering and stunning vistas of the surrounding mountain ranges.
