Green initiatives, programs and activities including eco-friendly practices such as increasing conservation and recycling efforts, and reducing energy and water consumption, helped the Bonita Springs, Fla. property earn the distinction bestowed by Prevo Health Solutions.
The Bonita Bay Club is the first private club in the country to earn the distinction of being named one of America’s Greenest Clubs, the Bonita Springs, Fla. property has announced.
Bonita Bay’s green initiatives, programs and activities contributed to its America’s Greenest Clubs designation that was bestowed by Prevo Health Solutions, which recognizes clubs that have implemented eco-friendly practices such as increasing conservation and recycling efforts, and reducing energy and water consumption.
The America’s Greenest Club distinction complements Bonita Bay Club’s Audubon Sanctuary designation and its recognition through the Distinguished Club, Platinum Club and America’s Healthiest Clubs programs.
“Bonita Bay was founded on a vision of sustainability and living in harmony with nature,” said Dan Miles, Bonita Bay’s General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. “That purposeful philosophy continues today, driven by a shared commitment and environmentally conscious culture among our club members and employees.”
Added Rick Ladendorf, Prevo Health Solutions’ Founder and CEO: “With the tremendous support of its members, board and staff, Bonita Bay Club leads by example. Their innovative leadership team has created a club of choice that is also known for being a great employer and a good neighbor.”
Bonita Bay Club recently announced that it has opened a limited number of full golf memberships for candidates residing outside of Bonita Bay (https://clubandresortbusiness.com/bonita-bay-club-offers-nonresident-full-golf-memberships/).
