The Blowing Rock, N.C. property’s annual “Summer Soulstice” event, which will be open to the public, will introduce the community’s new Jasper Clubhouse and Lookout Grill and Ascent Wellness & Fitness on June 23.

Blue Ridge Mountain Club (BRMC) in Blowing Rock, N.C., will open its gates to the public on Saturday, June 23 to kick off the season with its annual Summer Soulstice event on the property’s Great Lawn.

BRMC also plans to use the event this year to unveil its newly completedAmenity Center, including the new Jasper Clubhouse and Lookout Grill and the Ascent Wellness & Fitness Center. The center has been designed to serve as the community’s social center.

“We invite friends and families to ring in summer here with us at Blue Ridge Mountain Club,” said Jim Pitts, BRMC’s General Manager. “Not only will they experience incredible local talent through the forms of music, food and fun, our attendees will also be the first to see our new Watson Gap Village and all that it offers.”

Summer Soulstice is a free, outdoor live musical event at which locally made food and craft beer will be available for purchase. The event also featuresal frescodining, games on the Great Lawn and a bonfire at the new Jasper Clubhouse and Lookout Grill. The family-oriented event also includes activities such as a bouncy house and face painting.

The Summer Soulstice event benefits Hospitality House, a homeless shelter facility for seven rural North Carolina mountain counties.
