Billy Casper Golf (BCG) has been selected to manage the Emerald Greens Golf Resort and Country Club, Tampa, Fla., by new owner, Convergent Capital Partners LLC.
Emerald Greens is home to three, distinct nine-hole layouts – Meadow, Cypress and Pine. An expansive golf practice facility with a double-side driving range and two putting and chipping greens compliment PGA instruction.
Non-golf amenities feature eight lighted tennis courts, heated outdoor swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, day spa, three casual and formal dining options and event space.
The 25,000 square-foot clubhouse includes a fully-stocked pro shop, bag storage, locker rooms and The Terrace Bar and Grille and elegant banquet facilities.
BCG will oversee all aspects of member programs, operations, golf course and property maintenance, sales, marketing and public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, restaurant and banquet activities, financial management and special events.
BCG will enact its proprietary “BCGreen” initiative at Emerald Greens to conserve, protect and enhance the environment. Emerald Greens’ enrollment in the Audubon International “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” program will increase efficiencies in maintenance, energy, water, pesticides, fertilizer, equipment wear and labor.
