The golf club is hosting a cocktail party honoring his publication.
Bay Colony Golf Club, Naples, Fla., Executive Chef Wilhelm Gahabka will sign copies of his soon to be released “Bay Colony Golf Club Cookbook” on November 15 at 4pm, at Bay Colony Golf Club.
Wilhelm Gahabka is a native of Germany, where he trained at Nürnberg’s Culinary Institute, and honed his culinary skills under the direction of many lauded European Chef s in St. Moritz, Munich, Milan, and Monte Carlo.
His background includes Culinary Concepts, ten years overseeing the culinary operation of the Lafite Restaurant at The Registry Resort, before opening Club at Mediterra as Executive Chef. He joined Bay Colony Golf Club as Executive Chef seven years ago.
Entitled The Bay Colony Golf Club Cookbook, the book’s broad range of recipes includes everything form entrees to desserts, each of which is beautifully photographed and presented in step-by-step, easy to follow instructions. The book was inspired by last Season’s popular cooking classes hosted by Chef Gahabka at Bay Colony Golf Club, and the book features the subjects of last season’s hands-on coursework.
