The Bay Club Co. of San Francisco has completed a $3.2 million renovation of its Bay Club Carmel Valley fitness and spa venue in San Diego, the San Diego Business Journal reported
A statement from general contractor Pacific Building Group said additions to the property included new conference facilities and 77 Social Club, a gym-adjacent outdoor pavilion for gathering and entertaining. The work also included adding new spas, a bocce ball court, fire pits, landscaping, concrete work and a trellis with a sound system, heating and wireless internet, the Business Journal reported.
The 87,000-sq. ft. facility now has eight outdoor tennis courts, three swimming pools and a 15,000-sq. ft. fitness center. According to its website, it also features an Outdoor Bar & Grill, Cafe, summer camps, childcare, youth programs, outdoor playground, fitness shop, performance center, and locker rooms.

It operates 24 family-oriented, resort-style country clubs throughout California, with amenities including meeting and social spaces, golf courses and athletic facilities, the Business Journal reported.
