The Carolinas, Wisconsin Badger, and Arkansas Razorback chapters of the Club Managers Association of America took Chapter of the Year honors in their respective categories. Excellence in Education and Most Improved recipients were also announced.
The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) has announced its 2017 Chapter of the Year award recipients, recognizing the chapters that have excelled in membership operations, recruitment, and educational programming.
The Chapter of the Year Award competition recognizes outstanding work, participation and successful accomplishments of chapters within the Association. Chapters are judged on the Chapter Résumé and Chapter Highlight, Chapter and National Education, and CMAA Involvement. A $3,000 Education grant funded by The Club Foundation is awarded to each winning chapter.
Chapter of the Year Awards for the association’s size-determined categories were as follows:
Large Chapter, Carolinas
Medium Chapter, Wisconsin
Small Chapter, Arkansas Razorback
The CMAA also announced its Award for Excellence in Education winners, to showcase the chapters that are contributing to the club management profession through creative, informative, relevant, and innovative annual programming.
Each winning chapter is awarded an Education Grant from The Club Foundation to be used toward future chapter education programs.
