Max Filippov is an internationally experienced racquets professional with more than 15 years of leadership and coaching experience across tennis and pickleball. He currently serves as Director of Programming and Women’s Racquets at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, where he is known for building smart, well-run programs that balance performance, participation, and member experience.

A former ATP and ITF professional competitor, Filippov has coached athletes to WTA and Grand Slam levels and has partnered with Hall of Famer and former World No. 1 Kim Clijsters. His background spans high-performance player development and private club operations, giving him a rare ability to translate elite training principles into sustainable, member-focused programs.

Filippov is recognized for thoughtful leadership, clear standards, and a coaching-first philosophy that prioritizes instruction, accountability, and long-term development. He holds multiple industry certifications and a bachelor’s degree in sports and tourism from the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism.
