At the National Restaurant Association show later this year, the Wisconsin manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment will be recognized for the technology in its new CTPROformance™ Combitherm® oven.
Alto-Shaam, the Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment, will be honored with a Kitchen Innovation Award at the 2014 National Restaurant Association show, to be held May 17-20 in Chicago.
The recognition, based on a review of new products by an independent panel of expert judges comprised of internationally recognized food facilities consultants, multi-unit executives and design experts, will cite the innovative technology in Alto-Shaam’s new CTPROformance™ Combitherm® oven, which has been launched online this month and will be featured in Alto-Shaam’s exhibit at the show.
The CT PROformance Combitherm oven features a zero-clearance design that allows the equipment to be placed anywhere on the line, even next to an open flame. The oven includes a PROpower™ setting that allows for accelerated preheat and recovery times, resulting in 20% faster cooking times than competitive models, according to Alto-Shaam.
The CT PROformance Combitherm Oven is also available with an integrated smoking feature, enhanced cleaning system and menu capacity, and Absolute Humidity Control. Full descriptions of the oven’s features and benefits can be found at www.ct-proformance.com
