The new hot wells are waterless, offering longer holding capacity without the hazards and costs associated with steam-heated technology.
Alto-Shaam is releasing the new Halo Heat® drop-in hot wells, designed with an optional narrow footprint to accommodate up to three full-size hotel pans.
The new hot wells are waterless, offering longer holding capacity without the hazards and costs associated with steam-heated technology. The design makes cleanup easy and convenient. The hot wells require only a simple electrical hookup, removing the need for water-related installation or service cost, and freeing up valuable space.
Additionally, the waterless holding removes the risk of steam burns and water utility costs, as well as reducing maintenance costs.
“We created the new hot well line to offer our customers even more versatility when it comes to kitchen designs,” said Alto-Shaam Executive Chef Robert Simmelink. “By removing the need for plumbing, the hot wells are not limited to the standard space constraints, allowing the products to be used in non-traditional spaces of the kitchen.”
The Halo Heat drop-in hot wells join the company’s line of optional independently controlled wells introduced in 2015, which hold food at a precise temperature allowing for additional versatility in holding.
