The National Club Association and McMahon Group have announced the six 2026 Excellence in Club Management (ECM) Award winners. The annual awards are selected through nominations submitted on behalf of qualified candidates by other parties. Award recipients are selected based on their achievements at the club they currently manage.
The winners will be honored at the 2026 Excellence in Club Management Awards Gala on Sunday, April 19 at Ocean Reef Club during the 2026 National Club Conference.
The awards gala is presented by McMahon Group, the National Club Association, and the dinner sponsor is once again Kopplin Kuebler & Wallace.
The 2026 award recipients include:
- James H. Brewer Award: Mathew Linderman, CCM, ECM, Boca West Country Club (Boca Raton, Fla.).
- Mead Grady Award: Ali Sezgin, CSW, CS, CCM, CCE, ECM, The Patriot Golf Club (Owasso, Okla.).
- Mel Rex Award: Ian H. Munroe, CCM, ECM, Winter Park Racquet Club (Winter Park, Fla.).
- John Furlong Award (tie): Toni-Marie Ion Brown, CCM, CCE, ECM, Calgary Petroleum Club (Calgary, Ala.) and Michael Ridout, MBA, ECM,
- Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club (Toronto, Ontario).
- Rising Star Award: Joseph Callison, CCM, ECM, Belle Meade Country Club (Nashville, Tenn.).
Ceremonies will be held for the 2026 ECM winners at their individual clubs throughout 2026.
