The domed, $1.84 billion, 65,000-seat stadium that will be the new home of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders will include 120,000 sq. ft. of private-club space, including a 55,000-sq. ft. Peristyle Club at its north end that would feature a view of the Vegas Strip and an eight-story torch memorializing former owner Al Davis.
The new $1.84 billion, 65,000-seat stadium that will be built in Las Vegas, Nev. for the National Football League’s relocated Oakland Raiders will feature 120,000 square feet of private-club space, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
Plans for the stadium include the 55,000-sq. ft. Peristyle Club at its north end that will feature a view of the Las Vegas Strip and an eight-story torch as a memorial to the late Al Davis, the Raiders’ longtime owner, the Sun reported.
The full amount of private-club space in the stadium will be located on multiple levels, the Sun reported, and will be made available to club seat holders who will be required to purchase a personal seat license in addition to season tickets. The Raiders have yet to release the price schedule for club-seat status or season tickets, the Sun reported.
Club-seat members will be able to order in-seat refreshments and receive private parking privileges and early access to areas of the stadium before games, the Sun reported. The members will also receive early access to tickets to non-game day events and will be able to utilize the same amenities during those events.
Plans are also underway for another club area on the stadium’s lower-level sidelines between the 10-yard lines of the football field, with wider, padded seating, the Sun reported.
The current proposal for the stadium ‘s lower level also calls for two clubs located at field level on the 50-yard line behind both the home and visitor sidelines, providing exclusive views of players and coaches as they enter and exit the field, the Sun reported.
In documents that were scheduled to be reviewed at a meeting of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority on July 19th, the Sun reported, the Raiders described the club levels as drawing on the “strengths of the Entertainment Capital of the World” in delivering world-class entertainment and culinary arts.
