The venue within the property’s new 20,000-sq. ft. clubhouse, which was designed by Hart Howertown and opened with a ribbon-cutting earlier in June while President Trump was at his Singapore summit with Kim Jong Un, will be open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer East River and sunset views.
The new restaurant in the just-opened clubhouse at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx, N.Y. will open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner starting in July, the New York Post reported.
The venue within the 20,000-sq. ft. white clubhouse that was designed by Hart Howerton will offer East River and sunset views, the Post reported. The building also includes 15,000-sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space and a pro shop, in addition to the restaurant.
C&RB reported earlier in June (http://clubandresortbusiness.com/2018/06/ribbon-cut-new-clubhouse-trump-golf-links-new-york/) on the ribbon-cutting for the new clubhouse, which was held while President Donald Trump was in Singapore for his summit meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. The Trump Organization was represented by the President’s sons Don Jr. and Eric, who are both Vice Presidents with the company, along with Jack Nicklaus, who designed the Ferry Point golf course, and current pro golf tour stars Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau.
The city-owned course is leased by the Trump Organization, which redesigned and completed the 7,400-yard, 18-hole Nicklaus-designed course.
“He got it open,” Nicklaus told the brothers of their presidential father at the ceremony. “Your dad seems to get things done.”
