The Farmington, Pa. resort property will open the new attraction just in time for the busy Fourth of July travel season. Nemacolin Woodlands will be only the fourth venue in the world to offer it. In addition to the popular Topgolf golf-targeting simulator game, the Swing Suite will include multi-sport games, HDTVs, lounge seating and food-and-beverage service. Up to eight people can play, eat and drink and be entertained in each suite.
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pa. has announced the opening of Pennsylvania’s first Topgolf Swing Suite at the luxury resort, just in time for the busy summer travel season.
Currently offered at only three other venues around the world, the Topgolf Swing Suite bays at Nemacolin will open prior to the July Fourth holiday at four locations around the resort. Two simulator bays will be in the Tavern, a popular casual restaurant in the Lodge; one will be in the men’s locker room at Falling Rock, the resort’s 42-room boutique hotel and location of the pro shop for its two golf courses; and one will be in the Kidz Klub Arcade inside the Lodge, right near PJ’s, a 1950s-style ice cream shop and diner.
In addition to the popular Topgolf game, which was designed for the enjoyment of golfers and non-golfers alike, the Topgolf Swing Suite will include multi-sport games, HDTVs, comfortable lounge seating, and food-and-beverage offerings. Up to eight people can play, eat, drink and be entertained in each luxurious suite.
The resort has invested more than $250 million in improvements during the past several years, including the new Shepherd’s Rock, a Pete Dye 18-hole course that was one of only a handful of courses around the nation to open last year.
Since launching in 2017, Topgolf Swing Suite bays have become popular for business and social gatherings.
“We are proud to team with Nemacolin to provide a new kind of interactive social experience, featuring industry-leading Full Swing simulators, that will entertain all ages of non-golfers and golfers alike,” said Topgolf Swing Suite President Ron Powers.
“At Nemacolin, we provide our guests with the best—and they’ve come to expect the unexpected,” said Jeff Kmiec, the resort’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Finalizing this opportunity with Topgolf Swing Suite touches every demographic for us,” Kmiec added. “The unique experience enhances corporate events, private parties, bachelor and bachelorette celebrations, and old-fashioned family competition by using the best technology on the planet. With Topgolf on board, we’ll have a one-of-a-kind, interactive and highly social experience for our guests and members.”
