The club has sold more than 81 memberships, increasing its dues line by $123,000 annually, since June 2017, coinciding with when it brought in Mosaic Clubs as its management firm. It is now running a “Swing Into Spring Savings” membership promotion through the end of June that will waive initiation fees and provide a month of free dues for those joining by June 30.
Harlingen (Texas) Country Club has reported that since June 2017, it has sold more than 81 memberships, increasing the club’s dues line by $123,000 annually.
The momentum shift has coincided with the club bringing on Atlanta, Ga.-based Mosaic Clubs as its management company at that time (http://clubandresortbusiness.com/2017/08/harlingen-texas-cc-improves-financial-outlook/). In the six months prior to Mosaic’s involvement, the club had not sold one membership.
“We are thrilled for what the increase in membership means for our community,” said Bryan Easley, the club’s Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. “We have worked hard to continue elevating the Harlingen experience for our now more than 400 members, and we look forward to welcoming even more friendly faces into the Harlingen family.”
The Harlingen CC staff and Mosaic have also focused on implementing property-wide updates, the club reports, with the goal of further enhancing the membership experience. Upgrades have included bringing in new golf maintenance equipment, updating and increasing membership programming, and the addition of a full-time membership director, Estella Coello, who is now solely focused on improving member experiences and growing the community.
The club is now running a “Swing Into Spring Savings” membership promotion through the end of June that will waive initiation fees and provide a month of free dues for those joining by June 30. Details on the offer for Harlingen’s three membership classifications—Full Golf Membership, Young Executive Golf Members and Regular Membership—can be found at www.harlingencc.com/memberpromotion.
The club is also inviting area residents to “experience the Harlingen lifestyle for themselves” through the club’s upcoming Independence Day Party on July 4 and its Youth Summer Sports Camps, held weekly June through July.
Harlingen CC first opened its doors in 1949, and the property features a hacienda-style clubhouse and an 18-hole golf course that is open for member play year-round, along with five lighted tennis courts, a fitness center, various indoor and outdoor dining options and a swimming pool with large deck area.
“Our passion is in helping outstanding communities discover their full potential,” said Whitney Crouse, Mosaic’s Chairman. “We are thrilled by the spectacular growth the Harlingen community has experienced after just one year, and are eager to continue this trend through the next.”
