In the past three years, the Boca Raton, Fla., club has reported over 150 homes sold, with the club’s overall member age now averaging at 60. The facility is undergoing a $25 million improvement plan, including a new spa building that is expected to open in spring 2018.
Over the past three years, St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Fla., has seen a significant increase in home sales, reporting over 150 homes sold and the average age of new members at 58, driving the overall club average age to 60.
A $25 million Club Improvement Plan is currently underway. A total of $43.5 million in ongoing enhancements continue to elevate the member experience.
St. Andrews Country Club offers a state-of-the-art fitness center fully equipped with 25 personal trainers on staff, a wide variety of group fitness classes offered every day, and fitness machines and stretching apparatuses. A dedicated nutrition educator makes appearances frequently during the daily lunch buffet, preparing sample plates for the members, and also works closely with the executive chef to create healthier menu options. In addition, the club hosts many informational lectures year round to the membership featuring renowned physicians from Boca Raton Regional Hospital and leading fitness instructors.
“The majority of our membership is focused on leading an all-inclusive healthier lifestyle where wellness plays a large part,” said President Steve Irwin. “Both our fitness and spa facilities have seen dramatic increases in member use with so many younger families joining the club. We have developed a long range plan to further enhance these two areas to ensure we remain at the forefront of offering our members the best of everything. We are excited for our new spa building to open spring of 2018.”
A new spa building, expected to be open spring of 2018, will be an 11,000-sq. ft. standalone building will be fully equipped to handle the high volume of members and guests. Some of the new features will include a brand new salt room, a steam room and sauna, more massage and treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, and a new private make-up and hair area for special events. Private men’s and ladies’ facilities feature a rain room, ice fountain, lounge area, Zen garden and other necessary enhancements.
St. Andrews Country Club recently added a brand new, multi-use sports field, with lighted basketball and pickle ball courts, for families and children to have a functional space to spend time together and play outside. In the spring of 2018, St. Andrews Country Club will begin the renovation of the Fitness and Tennis Building.
