The event at Ramblewood CC was part of a fundraiser benefitting the Animal Welfare Association.
Looking to engage with its members’ “furbabies,” Ramblewood Country Club (Mt Laurel, N.J) hosted a “Yappy Hour” during which members’ dogs were encouraged to put on their fanciest collars and come to the club for drinks and snacks.
The event was part of a fundraiser benefitting the Animal Welfare Association, a nonprofit animal rescue that operates a no-kill shelter in Voorhees, reports the Burlington County Times in Willingboro, N.J. Members sipped cocktails while canines chewed down on gourmet dog treats.
The Yappy Hour was “BYOD (bring your own dog),” reports the Times, but the AWS also brought adoptable dogs to the club during the event.
