The spas at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla., Henderson Beach Resort in Destin, Fla., and Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Va., will roll out four new core treatments in 2017, and each feature facility updates. Salamander is also developing a spa concept at two new hotel projects in New Orleans and Charleston, S.C.
Salamander Spa has expanded its offerings at the Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbour, Fla., the newly opened Henderson Beach Resort & Spa in Destin, Fla., and at the company’s flagship Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Va., with four key core treatments set to launch in 2017, the Secaucus, N.J.-based Travel Weekly reported.
Salamander is working with staffs at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Fla., and Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Fla., to unify their spa offerings, and is developing a spa concept at two new hotel projects in New Orleans and Charleston, S.C., Travel Weekly reported.
“My love for spas is what first led me into the hospitality industry, and our concept is simple: let us help you relax and rejuvenate,” said Sheila C. Johnson, the founder and CEO of Salamander Spa. “We help our guests discover themselves through treatments and overall wellness, both inside and out.”
The Salamander Spa experience offers four different 80-minute signature treatments, including a massage, body wrap, facial or mani/pedi. New and unique treatments include vibrational sound therapy with Tibetan sound bowls, used in every guest’s experience, beginning at check-in and ending with their departure, Travel Weekly reported.
Salamander Spa’s flagship spa in Middleburg has served as an incubator for new concepts and as a model for the other sites. The Salamander Spa at Innisbrook, which had been an Indaba Spa since 2007, has undergone the largest transformation, replacing an outdoor labyrinth meditation circle with a garden, patio and raised terrace that play host to yoga classes and weddings that can seat up to 200 guests. An outdoor fire pit and individualized dining from the room service menu are part of the updated offerings, Travel Weekly reported.
