The Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., property’s clubhouse increased in size by almost 50%, with new furnishings and finishes throughout. Additions include Solstice, an 80-seat fine dining restaurant; Upstairs Bar & Lounge, which will be used for pre-function cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; an expanded ballroom; and first- and second-story dining patios overlooking the golf facilities.
After several years of planning and almost ten months of construction, The Country Club at Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., debuted its new Grand Clubhouse on April 18, with nearly 1,000 members and guests touring the facility during the soft opening.
The formerly 50,000-sq. ft. Grand Clubhouse increased in size by almost 50% and the new furnishings and finishes have rejuvenated the look and feel of the Mediterranean-style building. Additions include Solstice, an 80-seat fine dining restaurant; Upstairs Bar & Lounge, which will be used for pre-function cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; an expanded ballroom; and first- and second-story dining patios overlooking the golf facilities. Most notably, the upstairs culinary facility was relocated in order to facilitate sweeping views of the golf courses upon entry into the lobby.
“We have waited for this moment since the build-out of our community was complete and the ownership of our club transferred from our developer, Taylor Morrison,” said General Manager/COO Matt Lambert. “Our clubhouse was built to sell homes and was not sufficient to provide the level of service expected by our active and vibrant community. The unmistakable energy at our open house demonstrated that both our members and our Club team are eager to begin this next chapter in Mirasol’s history.”
“It was a long journey getting to this point, but the sense of community pride and excitement certainly makes it all worthwhile,” Board of Directors President Tobi D’Andrea said.
The multi-phased project began with the renovation and enhancement of the golf practice facilities, which was complete in October 2015. Still yet to come, and already under construction, is a state-of-the-art, two-story fitness center with dedicated pilates, spin, and group instruction studios, a more tranquil and luxurious spa, separate lap swimming, children’s, and fitness pools, a health-conscious spa café, and a dedicated building for tennis operations. The final phase of this comprehensive enhancement project will be complete by late summer.
