Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., will increase its initiation fee for golf memberships from $35,000 to $45,000 beginning midnight on March 31, 2016. The club will also increase the initiation fee for associate golf memberships from $1,000 to $5,000 at the same time. A limited number of preview golf memberships are still available.
“The completion of our renovation projects has created a ‘Best in Class’ experience for members and re-established a base for continued growth in a very competitive country club market,” said Robert P. Magrann, president of the club’s Board of Directors. “We are especially pleased with our progress and are confident that our new initiation fees reflect our value more appropriately in the marketplace.”
The club has enjoyed a surge in membership sales during the past year, thanks to the changing demographics of Southwest Florida, including a rise in new home communities along the Immokalee corridor.
“As the Naples marketplace evolves, so does Quail Creek Country Club,” said General Manager/COO Don Hunter. “We’re seeing a number of young families join, as well as more full-time Naples residents, so we are adapting our programming and facilities accordingly.”
The club started renovations in June 2013, focusing on both golf course upgrades, expansion of the club’s Greenside Grille, two new bocce courts and a new sports lounge. Renovations to both golf courses included:

- New Celebration grass for tees, rough and fairways;
- TifEagle Bermuda grass for greens;
- An increase in playable, native areas through the course to reduce the amount of water, fertilizer and maintenance required;
