Business and conference center, pool and corporate entertainment complex are the latest features to be added to the “multisports country club” that’s “the home of the 100-mph lunch.”
The Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville. Ga., 60 miles north of downtown Atlanta, announced it will be breaking ground and unveiling plans for its new 20,000-sq.ft. Business and Conference Center, pool and Corporate Entertainment Complex on Saturday, September 20th. The property’s Ice Hill and Skid Pad Driver Development Center, which opened earlier this year and is the first of its kind in the U.S., will also be showcased at the park, which describes itself as a “motorsports country club” and calls itself “the home of the 100-mph lunch.”
Atlanta Motorsports Park opened in May 2012 with the goal of attracting 450 members. It currently has 367, including race enthusiasts from nearly every state in the U.S., as well as the Bahamas and Puerto Rico.
The new Business & Conference Center will house the following amenities:
- Eleven top-of-the-line and “oceanfront” garages for members
- A second floor overlooking the track that includes a large meeting space with two classrooms and the ability to showcase up to nine cars
- Fitness center
- Dinner lounge, bar, wine room and humidor
- Catering kitchen
- Outdoor entertainment area with pool, water slide, Jacuzzi, swim-up bar, and sunken fire pit
- Outdoor decks
- Kids’ game room
- Car elevator
The 5,400-sq. ft/ Corporate Entertainment Complex will offer:
- Indoor lanes for boarding and off-boarding karts and cars
- Offices
- Kart Pro Shop
- Storage for up to 80 karts
- Tech Area
- Meeting space to be used for kart racing schools, birthday/bachelor parties and corporate events
