Maple Ridge Golf Club includes an 18-hole championship length golf course originally designed by Mike Young and later enhanced by Craig Schriner and Larry Mize.
Maple Ridge Golf Club, Columbus, Ga., which opened in 1992 and operated as a semi-private club from 1992 through 2000 will return to semi-private this spring.
In early 2010, The W.C. Bradley Company, owner of Maple Ridge, contracted Private Club Associates (PCA) to conduct member and community surveys along with PCA’s Comprehensive Club Operations Audit. In July, 2010, W.C. Bradley hired PCA as the management company for Maple Ridge Golf Club with the intent of taking the golf club semi-private.
“After working with PCA on the operations audit and membership surveys, the W.C. Bradley Company felt returning to a semi-private model would be the best way to take advantage of the growth in the Columbus market and provide our ownership with the ability to continue to invest in the club and its operations,” said Mat Swift, President and COO of the Real Estate Division at W. C. Bradley. “PCA and our team at Maple Ridge have been making numerous enhancements to the golf course and facilities in preparation for our “Grand Opening Week of April 11-17.”
