The economy has been good for the 2009 PGA Merchandise Show. “Good” because it has been a catalyst for an industry-wide collaboration of resources to help pull the golf industry through the challenging economic forecast for 2009. Multiple new programs await both exhibitors and attendees who attend the show, which will be held January 29-31 in Orlando, Fla.
Among the new programs, the 56th annual global gathering of golf will showcase the largest number of major exhibitors and new product introductions since 2002; highlight many best practices in the business; expand employment programs and job postings; and offer new vendor exhibiting and marketing programs.
“Now more than ever, the PGA Show takes on a greater role as a catalyst for golf business in 2009,” says Ed Several, PGA Golf Shows Group Vice President & General Manager. “Every PGA professional, retailer and manufacturer attending the 2009 PGA Show can expect to find not just one or two reasons to grow their business, but more than enough tools, resources, contacts, seminars, special events, new products and more to make their trip worthwhile. This year’s show is not to be missed, as we think it will help every attendee and vendor.”
