According to an article in The Press Democrat, two robbery suspects bound and robbed three employees of the Healdsburg Golf Club at Tayman Park, Calif., escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash before one suspect was arrested.
Healdsburg Police said two young men approached the golf course’s clubhouse as it was closing Tuesday night and then with electrical tape bound the wrists of three employees who were closing the shop.
The victims described seeing and feeling an unknown weapon, possibly a crowbar, being pressed on the back of their necks, according to police who were investigating the incident as an armed robbery.
One victim was taken into the shop to collect cash for the men, who also stripped the victims of wallets, watches and cell phones, Sgt. Matt Jenkins said in the article.
The victims, all in their late teens or early 20s, were able to free themselves from the electrical tape once the suspects left and called 911, Jenkins said. It was one of the employees’ second day on the job, according to police.
A 16-year-old man from Santa Rosa was identified by witnesses and arrested at his home, where police found items taken in the robbery, Jenkins said. Police are searching for a second suspect.
