Corps of Engineers: New Orleans City Park Violates Clean Water Act
According to a notice issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, construction of the controversial golf course this year has destroyed more than an acre of wetlands. Park officials stopped construction in the area during the review process, and are seeking permission to continue work on the course’s current configuration.
