Golfers Jonathan Randolph, Rick Lamb, Keith Mitchell and Bobby Wyatt tried out a few trick shots before the Albertsons Boise Open, including hitting a football 33 yards with a golf club for a field goal.

The Lincoln, Neb., facility is enhancing its family sports and recreation programs by adding a larger driving range with more target areas and a short game practice area, which are expected to be complete by spring, as well as a new casual dining and bar area accompanying the recently renovated pool cabana.

The Baltimore-based planning, architecture and interior design firm noted that Turner’s portfolio of hospitality projects, including restaurants, spas, fitness centers and resorts was an “important draw” for Chambers. Turner is a certified Interior Designer at the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and a graduate-level adjunct professor at the Corcoran College of Art and Design.

The new design tied together two of the club’s existing buildings to create a single clubhouse structure that is anchored by a centrally-located covered patio.
