John O’Keefe Named GCSAA President
O’Keefe, who is Director of Golf Course Management at Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne, N.J., will serve a one-year term as president. O’Keefe, CGCS, served as vice president of the organization in 2014.
San Diego Added for 2019 to GIS Lineup; Ihms Named New GCSAA President
The Golf Industry Show will continue its three-city rotation with Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego through the end of the decade, it was announced in Orlando. Also at this year’s show, Keith Ihms, CGCS, Director of Grounds Maintenance at the Country Club of Little Rock (Ark.), was elected President of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).
