Members of the industry association can now receive free access to information and guidance on regulatory and compliance issues surrounding the Affordable Care Act, through what has been designed to be “the health care hub for the private club industry.”
To help private clubs “navigate the moving target of health care reform,” the National Club Association (NCA) has launched what it describes as a “new, user-friendly tool” and “comprehensive online resource” to provide guidance on regulatory and compliance issues surrounding the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Members of the NCA will receive free access to a new segment of the association’s website (www.nationalclub.org) that the association says has been designed to “serve as the health care hub for the private club industry.”
“We are committed to providing a resource that reflects the latest information, knowing that the ACA has been ever-changing when it comes to deadlines and delays,” the association said in announcing the new website. “NCA’s Health Care Resource Center takes the guesswork away from busy club leaders and empowers them with the information they need to adapt to the latest changes and emerging provisions.
“In just one location, the [Resource Center] provides an array of information, including tools, guidelines, website links to trusted sources, timely news articles and NCA resources to assist clubs with implementation timelines and compliance rules,” the association added. “The NCA Health Care Resource Center will [serve as a] source for information to share with club leaders, HR managers and staff as the new law is implemented over the next few years.
The exclusive resource for NCA members can be found on the private side of the association’s website. After logging in, members should look under the Knowledge Management tab for the Health Care Resource Center.
The Health Care Resource Center landing page then takes users to multiple pages of information, including:
· Compliance and implementation guidelines and links to NCA regulatory alerts and updates
· News & Information organized by topic, web resources, recorded webinars, breaking developments and pertinent news articles
· Ongoing opportunities to ask questions about the ACA during regular health care law town hall meetings that will be held via a conference call every Monday afternoon.
· History of how the ACA evolved over time and the NCA’s involvement in reporting regulatory updates and information to club members.
Information on becoming a member of the National Club Association can be found on the website’s home page.
